the diwan foundation
I ran the 100 Hands, Giving Day and Ramadan fundraisers for Cornell Muslim Life: the LaunchGood campaigns, the Mailchimp emails, the posting schedules and every asset in between.
01
what does diwan do?
A three-part Instagram carousel that explains, plainly, what a gift actually pays for.
02
giving day
Posts and stories for Cornell Giving Day: the ask, the link, and a nudge for every budget.
03
ramadan
Making the cost of a Ramadan on campus concrete, down to the dates. I ran the LaunchGood campaign in 2022 and 2024, from the page copy to the updates, and each year raised $8K–14K for iftars and programs for 600+ Muslim students.
04
100 hands · letters home
Letters for parents, alumni and families, shared over email and WhatsApp, asking for one of 100 hands.
↳
how i ran it
- LaunchGood campaigns. I wrote and managed the Ramadan campaign pages in 2022 and 2024, including updates to donors while they were live. See the 2022 campaign ↗
- Email. I drafted and sent the appeals and updates in Mailchimp, from the first ask to the last-day push.
- Website. I kept cornellmuslimlife.org current with each campaign. I managed the site; I didn't build it.
- Schedule. I planned what went out where and when, across Instagram, stories, email and WhatsApp.
